This is an impossible workshop to create a precise fabric requirements list for. There are countless different types of furnishing fabrics out there and I have no idea in advance exactly what you might bring. Some may be ordinary and some may be strange... and  with all sorts of different fibre contents. It is often the strange fabrics that we can have the most fun with so do not reject any you find.

This is a workshop of techniques and possibilities so I will adapt them to the fabric we have available as far as possible. We will not set out to make something... ( although you may incorporate your samples into something later). 

The best advise is to try to find pieces ( they can be strips cut accross the bolt or scraps) of as many different types of fabric as you can and not bring yards and yards of only one type... and please be prepared to share. My goal will be to extend our techniques to stretch creativity. I take a walk around furnishing fabric stores regularly and request 'samples' ( as large as possible!) from anything that catches my eye.
